State legislature on January 18, 1894.
This unique part-German, part-French name

Furmont Days

2008-04-26_JAK_7647

A capacity crowd of dogs and cats managed to drag their human friends to the Carnival Grounds on April 26th for Furmont Days. The demonstration by Deputy Eyler showing his police dog attacking Chief Eyler was a big hit. There were lots of games for the average dogs to participate in. Everyone had a great day and we all look forward to the next Furmont Days. Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this event such a dog-gone success!

Rufus enjoys a day out with his canine friends.

See more pictures of Furmont Days here.

and click here to see why Deputy Eyler’s Police Dog chased the Chief and knocked him to the ground so quickly.
