Halloween in the Park will be on October 21, 2006
from 6:30pm - until
and is being held at the Thurmont Community Park on Frederick Road.
This years event will feature:
 
Mom & Me Show
Khan Du Magic Show
Public Library Storytime
and
The Famous HAUNTED HAYRIDE

There will be no parking allowed with the Community Park, except for Handicapped spaces in the front. All others will be parking across the road behind the Bowling Alley,
there will be attendants to direct you.

There will be refreshments available, along with treats for children.
A number system will be used this year to shorten the wait time for the
 HAUNTED HAYRIDE

 So bring your family to the town park for a fun evening, and as in the past, admission is
 one canned food item to support the area
Food Bank.

The Board of Commissioners had a few special guests at their last meeting.

Commissioner Blakeslee glances toward Chief Eyler hoping to get his attention and maybe a little protection.
The Chief sits very still, trying not to be noticed as the Chainsaw Killer sizes up the job ahead.
