Thurmont's MCWA Program

Thurmont is working to ensure the success of the Monocacy-Catoctin Watershed Alliance through the creation and implementation of local programs and projects. These projects will include storm water drain stenciling, local watershed projects, stream bed and embankment cleaning, and environmental education programs.

As these local projects are developed, members of the community will be asked to volunteer their time and energy to help create a cleaner environment for all the residents of Frederick County.

You can contact Gary Dingle with any questions or suggestions at
301-271-7313, Ext. 210.

Keep checking back for updates on what Thurmont is doing to help the
Monocacy-Catoctin Watershed Alliance
reduce and prevent water pollution in Frederick County.
