2024 ANNUAL DRINKING WATER REPORT
Lead and Copper Inventory
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires water systems to develop an inventory of all service line pipes in their water distribution system and classify the materials of their service line pipes as either Lead, Galvanized Requiring Replacement (GRR), Non-Lead, or Lead Status Unknown.
The Town has recently mailed out letters to all residents to inventory all service lines in town to gather information to meet the EPA requirements. You can submit this information by scanning the QR code provided on your letter with your phone and uploading a picture of your pipe or by going to https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/53043ebacea145ff8c858001c75fa44f?portalUrl=https://TownofThurmont.maps.arcgis.com .
A representative will be available at the Town Office on November 26, 2024 between the hours of 10am - 1pm to help answer questions or upload this information.
The Town's lead service line inventory is available upon request. All inquiries can be made to Andrew Tuleya at andrew.tuleya@arroconsulting.com
